2 Solubility Sparingly soluble in water ; practically insoluble in ethanol (96%) and in ether . It dissolves in solutions of mineral acids, of potassium hydroxide and of sodium hydroxide, but not in solutions of ammonia or of the alkali carbonates.
3 Identification Should Comply [ By colour test.]
